For customers that are still on the Panasonic System Manager Pro (SMP) platform, the integrated credit card software that was sold and certified under the Payment Applications Best Practices (PABP) v1.4 rules no longer appears on the approved list for deployment or continued use.
As a result of this delisting, Visa recommends that customers still on this platform migrate to another form of taking credit/debit within 90 days or as soon as possible.
Please note that customers using SMP without integrated credit or those using a nonintegrated payment terminal are not affected by this announcement.
